Meet Ranjeet Singh, a ‘moonwalking’ traffic cop who has turned into a style icon
INDORE , MADHYA PRADESHAn iconic traffic policeman Ranjeet Singh has found an innovative way to manage traffic on the city’s bustling. He is inspiring his junior colleagues to adopt the ‘dancing’ routine to keep a check on the traffic.
According to Hindustan Times, the cop said that instead of walking back he does the moonwalk which sometimes amuses commuters which in a way, encourages people to follow traffic rules.
Inspired by his style, at least three other police traffic police personnel Sumant Singh Kachhawa and Mahendra Singh Tomar have adopted the routine.
Even the higher officers of the force are quite impressed by Ranjeet Singh’s efforts.
Ranjeet Singh, however, blamed the people for the traffic mess in the city.
As per Singh, there are commuters who don’t wish to follow any instruction. He said that their job is to tell them but in the end it is their choice.
