Some of the common facts and figures which define a “pakka” Indori are-
  1. you will find sev in everything which is available for eating to mankind.

2.we  always have extended festivals..holi extends to rang panchami, dussera and basi dussera, diwali and choti diwali.
 
3.All famous landmarks are food joints.

4.You randomly call “raju bhaiya” in market, and someone will surely respond.

5.’POHA’ can be consumed anytime, no matter what part of day it is.

6.You will always hear, ‘RAJWADA se lete to sasta padta.

7.No matter what occasion, ‘guru kripa’ is always one of the choice.

8.Party, ‘Palty’ is the word used to address individuals.

9.Normally people eat for living, here people can die for the same.

10.It doesn’t matter how hard McD, KFC,SUBWAY try, johny hot dog will always be favorite.

11. Everything here is ‘ek number’.

12.when an indori wants to end a conversation he says, “sahi hai beta”.

13.’apan’ me jo apnapan hai wo ‘hum’ me kahan.. :)

14.we don’t undersatnd directions, to go to a desired place we have to;” yu jake yu jana padega… :)

15. when we don’t have clue…….”bhaiya dekh lo yaar apne hisaab se”..

16.to’err’ is human….and to ‘aein’ is indori

17.”aur kya bhiya” is our way of saying whatssup.. :)

18.”ek tarfa”, is not our translation of  EXCIDE, it means ‘awesome’.

19.if someone says, “main arya hun”..he is not telling about origins, he just means.”he is coming’.

20.if you hear someone saying, “abe kalle’, he is not racist..he just means, “do it dude”.

21.common talks are- kar riya hun, aa riya hun, ja riya hun…
bechari “riya”… :P


22. indori women will address everyone as bhaisaab…even to her husband  :P

23. In a normal conversation with indori, he will ask you-” yaar main kya keriya tha”.
